Finally had a chance to take the car to the track, and overall was pretty happy with the results. My buddy's talked me into going to this no prep "Cash Days" event and got to make 6 passes the on the car.
The car has a lot more in it, but I didn't have much time to make many adjustments to the car with how fast they were calling us up for each round. I had 16 cars in the class I was in, and ended up going all the way to the finals and pulled out a win!
Best pass of the night was a , .60ft on that run was a 1.55. My best .60ft. of the night was a 1.39, but I am still touching the limiter on the 1-2 shift, and hit twice on the 2-3 shift. I ended up just shifting the car with the paddles all night.
I'm gonna try and get the car on a better track here in the next week before I make any changes to the tuning. I wanna see if it hits the limiter on a better track, cause I'm almost positive it is spinning the tires on the top of the shift. The weather looks good here this weekend, supposed to be nice and cool, looking forward to running her out the back and get that 9 second time-slip I've been working towards.
Thanks to Terry beefcake Racing and all the guys @ Finishline Performance, as well as Dakota@Lund Racing for all the help on the cars, you all have been fantastic to work with!
