Installed the 25mm wheel spacers today
IMG_0621.JPG

After removing the wheels, I saw all the oxidation on the rotors... never ceases to surprise me how quickly this happens. I have 1000 miles on my car! I definitely want to make sure that I have a perfectly flat surface for the spacers, so a little windex and 400 grit sand paper achieves the desired result.

WOW! The wheel spacers are a HUGE impact without costing a fortune - WELL DONE! I thought there is a big downside to spacers, something about more stress on the bearings - is this not a problem on the Mustangs? It REALLY looksa KICK butt!

hi bigfoot, thanks for the compliments!

I've been into modifying cars for a long time now and I used to think the same thing that you're saying, but I've run spacers on my last 2 vehicles with no issues whatsoever. If you do it correctly, I don't see a downside. Correctly means use an adapter with studs in it if you get above a certain size or use extended wheel studs.

There are tons of these floating around. I got mine from a forum member for a great price, and if/when I get wheels, I'll pass them on to the next person!

Got the sound tube delete kit by blowfish from American Muscle in the mail today and put it on. That should take care of the p0300 code and clean up the engine bay! Nice little kit. Nothing fancy, but it does the trick. It took some time to figure out the best way to get the firewall plug in, but I finally moved 2 lines and was able to get it plugged.

Played a little dressup today!

swapped out the chrome lug nuts for black ones. These are gorillas.

They came nicely wrapped... took forever to unwrap them all!

Chrome lug nuts on black wheels??!?!? Who thought this was ok?

Size comparison, new vs old... takes the same socket (13/16), but slightly smaller collar and slightly taller.

Ah that's better.

Thanks!

I got these for $160 on black friday. The installation was easy. Normal tools will get you through, you'd just do well to get a bottle of touch up paint before starting to touch up the holes that are drilled. The instructions are great. There are also a lot of youtube videos that show how to do it... that's why I didn't go into details.

I put the hood pad back on. There are enough ponies on this thing without having to show that one.
