GT350 Media Event at Laguna Seca

There will be an event to officially allow media to drive the new 2016 GT350's at Laguna Seca and around the surrounding area. This will be similar to the Boss 302 introduction at Laguna Seca from February 2011. So expect to see lots of driving impressions and hopefully some lap times from the event starting next Monday August 24th. Ford has the track all week and once the media is finished then the Track Tour begins on August 27th. :cheers:

Very nice. This yellow one was there the last weekend and they were giving some Vip ride alongs at Laguna Seca.

The yellow looks very nice.

Yep I was there and the hot laps were pretty cool. That car is specifically setup for the Track Tour event and was also at Sonoma raceway the previous weekend.

any word if they will have factory drivers/hot shoes on hand to record some official laps?

There will be engineers there and the one I rode with knew how to handle the R we were in. I doubt there will be any published times from Ford drivers but look for times from media drivers.

Anyone know when the reviews are expected to be out? Is the embargo lifting tomorrow morning or are media starting to test it tomorrow? Can't wait for this :headbang:

I expect we'll see some short vids of today up by day's end, with full fledged reviews rolling in later in thee week due to editing time and all that

Depending on when the official Ford media embargo ends you might start seeing stuff as the media event progresses over the week.
