Swirls on black deck lid panel

Hi guys what is a good product or method to improve the look of my black deck lid panel between the tail lights , in the sun it shows a lot of swirl marks . Any suggestions are appreciated cheers

Yeah that deck lid is a right pain. You practically look at it and it gets scratches on it. I think we need to remove it and clear film wrap it or something. I've been wondering exactly what to do about it myself.

I was thinking about maguires plastic x but not sure if it would make it worse

Sometimes it's better to replace it !

My original decklid was OptiCoated and showed no swirls.

That decklid has since been replaced under warranty and I didn't bother getting it re-coated.

Can't say that I've noticed any swirling, though.

Yeah mine was like it when I took delivery , the dealership clowns washed it with an angle grinder I think

I have an opticoated AU panel for sale, I don't know how you would get the swirls out without potentially causing more swirls.
