So.... just throwing this out there. If I by chance get the nomination to win the Classc 5 wheels that Velgen is giving away, I'd really appreciate some help with some votes! Gotta rep the Comp Orange! I'll also really take into consideration different the different color options. The Satin Black is gorgeous but many CO cars are rocking black wheels. I'm kind of curious about the Satin Bronze with CO, maybe too much orange?

Or maybe the Matte Silver would look clean as hell too.

Thanks guys! I'll hook you up with a nice room at the Bellagio if you are ever in Vegas!

So looks like I made it into the finals! I'd love to get some votes from fellow Comp Orange owners! Just go on the wheels and tires subforum and vote for me in the Velgen giveaway! Thanks!

Thanks guys. And I'm loving the wheels. I was really unsure about going with the satin graphite over satin black for the wheels but I like the look and it's a little different from all of the black wheels you see everywhere these days.

I've got caliper envy. Did you use G2 or have them powder coated by a pro?

Neither. I actually went to Autozone and got a couple cans of Duplicolor Engine paint in Chevy Orange. It's a near perfect match. Only way you'll notice a difference is if you hold your caliper next to a body panel. Went over it with a couple coats of their engine paint clear coat. I will say it's not as durable as the G2 that I used on my 2014 DIB GT, but it's about $20 vs over $100 for their color matched kit.

Last day for voting on the wheels giveaway! Please help me out! I know I need 57 votes to win, but just a few more would be cool to be the runner up!

And I know, if you're not first, you're last!

rotors look like the are facing wrong direction. usually it's slots and holes point at the nose... at least that's how mine are and everyone else's I've seen.

From the research I've done before I installed them, there is no right or wrong direction to face the slots. What does matter is if the vents in the middle of the rotors are directional. If they are, then you mount based off of that. If they're not directional, then it's all a matter of personal preference.
