Just had th PP2 installed.. what a difference, smooth and pulls hard.. why the tune wasn’t on the car from the factory I don’t know.

May be a stupid question... so I will apologize in advance.

Does the Pro Cal tool need to stay in the OBD Port.. being Illuminates BLUE all the time whilst driving.? Or has my tech forgot to remove it.?
Procal tool is basically a usb that connects your computer to the mustang. Once the tune is uploaded it doesnt need to be there anymore.

Thanks, I was certain it should be...

Not Dyno’d, not really interested in numbers, the driveability and feeling are much more important than ‘Cock waving’ in the Gym showers..

A 120 mile jaunt this evening confirmed that, no track time planned 7ntil next year though :(
I'm more interested in the shape of the curve than your peak #, since there's only 1 posted PP2 Dyno that I could find and I suspect something is wrong with his car or tune. Your Dyno could clarify things.

Had my car with the PP2 dyno'd today.

Video:

Results:

Dyno.jpg

405 hp / 366 lb-ft on a Mustang Dyno.

Horsepower slightly beat expectations; I was thinking 395-400, so to crack 400 is satisfying. Torque I was expecting closer to 380, but I'll take what I can get.

Damn impressive numbers, you realize that is a mustang dyno? They read low. That car is making 420-430 on a dynojet

G damn, what octane? Only catback and PP2? I would be stoked. Why does your AFR show 20.1?

Very Nice!

x2. I would guess 93 though. Us CA guys will have slightly less on 91.

Yep, 93 here in Illinois (although I do know of one station in town that has 92 for whatever reason). No clue on the AFR. This was an open house with a wide variety of cars, and I know they were keeping several numbers static to keep things moving, so maybe that caused that number.

Is bangin the rev limiter on the dyno ok? Thought that was bad for the opg and cs
Rev limiters aren't bad for OPGs. They're designed to prevent damage.

I'm surprised the HP fell off at the end...
Why? The stock intake manifold is the same and is known to be a restriction at high RPM. That's why people swap to the GT350 manifold.

Oil Separator and 1/2 mile expectations.

I'm taking the plunge on PP2. Two questions:

1. I understand that an oil separator helps with potential pinging issues but is a tight fit unless you get the updated version. Anyone have a link to the updated version or part number?

2. I do a few 1/2 mile events a year. Stock on MPSS the best mph I have been able to achieve is 132.88 mph. Any thoughts on what the increase in trap speed will be in half mile?

Have any you guys had issue with losing the line lock feature after installing the PP2 tune? I was watching a YouTube video and a guy on the comments complained about this.
Anyone?
