I need some guidance from people with experience with PIDs and the Torque App.

I've been using the Torque app for many years now. On my Pontiac G8 GT it read knock retard. I've noticed even with the built in extra ford PIDs it still doesn't read the Knock retard sesnors on my 2015 mustang GT. Has anyone else got there torque app to read that if so what PID or whatever did you add? there is a section to add PID's manually but never really messed with any of that before. Thanks!

Bringing this up as I'd like to also find an app that reads knock retard. Anyone find one?

I've got the DashCommand which does not and only has vehicles up to 2014.

Name- knock
Min/max -10/10
Scale- x1
Unit type- deg

Thanks but what does that mean? Are you saying I can add my own PID with those parameters??

I did a search for "knock" in the DashCommand app and it came up with the option to buy the additional PID's for $10.68 CAD from the Play Store so I did.

Yeah go into the custom / add pid section. Another good one to add is the octane adjust ratio aka OAR.

Is oar similar as a ecoboost where -1.0 is perfect and 1.0 bad? I have it on my sct I think it has been stuck at .11 for weeks. Never makes any adjustment I don't think it actually does anything for the gt.

Yea if you go on live link you can add it to your x4 to monitor or log. Mine was at -.14 for weeks until I retuned and reset the ecu now it's at 0.0. So maybe it does actually work. No one talks about it on gt cars though on the eco is was something good to monitor.
