Id imagine Ford has a separate team for dumb sh!t like this... and other engineers working on making body panels not fit and vibrations at 60...

I think its either

Horse Shit or A feature I would think its cool for a little while then would likely turn it off - a distraction, we already have enough of those.

Only one question ....

A pulsing start button light. Supposedly at the same heart rate as a resting horse.
Does the light flash faster as the Mustang goes faster?
The horses heart beats faster if its racing. :D

Simulating a Mustang for Real

Can we get the body panels to sweat when we race?
Just like a running Mustang.

Sometimes I just wonder what people will not bitch about. It's a freaking light that pulsates, don't get your panties in a tangle gentlemen.

Is it gimmicky? Sure. I still think it's pretty cool. It's an unobtrusive, thoughtful detail.
I agree, nothing obnoxious and likely costs less than $1.00 to add to the car. So why not enjoy the unusual.

Sorry, but this is lame. The $100 of R&D money spent on a pulsing LED-lit start button could've gone to something more useful. Perhaps an optional, laser cut visor warning label cover.
