Seriously, a light pulsing at the resting heart rate of a horse? What idiot design engineer came up with that one?
You don't know how the process works. What probably happened is there was an intermittent short in a test mule prototype starter button that caused it to flash. An engineer then asked: would it be cheaper to eliminate the potential flaw OR to make it universal and call it a feature.

Next thing you know the 2020 Mustang will neigh when you hit the ignition, and everyone will think it's adorable how their little pony comes to life.
Ford already did that back in 1965............. been there...done that....
Not with the ignition, but with the horn...

Add it to the list of the many things the OG S550 guys want without actually purchasing the new car.
Geez you have an ax to grind. Some people don't like the aesthetics and that overrides anything else. Get over it.

How about Ford correcting all of the damn Quality Control issues with the S550 instead of having their Engineering Team goof off with this crap?

Are people actually upset about this? WTF? This is nothing more than a silly little conversation piece for some owners in the know. No reasonable person is going to really "make fun of" or buy/not buy the car because of this feature.

And if someone DOES hate on it, they're probably not the kind of person whose opinion should be worth a shit to you, anyways.

We need some real info from Ford to come out so everyone will stop bitching about small stuff.

we dont all have to agree on this, I personally think engineering resources should be directed toward recalls and problems, not adding useless marketing fodder.

If you hooked up an ekg monitor to your body, and the some interesting feature could be driven by your own heart rate, then I think it could be a thing.

But alas, I'll keep my '15, that front bumper alone on the '18 makes me throw up a little in my mouth.

Instead of synthesized V8 engine noise, I bet the speakers emit heart valve noise too!

It would be cooler if it connected to my fitbit and displayed my heart rate. That would be SO COOL.
