It's the little things like puddle lights and my color that most people rave about at car shows. So I bet it's probably legit.

based on the production quality, I will say yes. I dont see anybody making a video with that fidelity as a joke... but then again. April 1st is coming around...

 yeah...that's why.
I mean that, and their owners continuously wrecking them.

Seriously, a light pulsing at the resting heart rate of a horse? What idiot design engineer came up with that one? I'd rather have the "Ground speed" indicator back. Can't have a decent car without all of its gimmicks, I guess.

Is it gimmicky? Sure. I still think it's pretty cool. It's an unobtrusive, thoughtful detail.

That completely changes my mind on this car. Anyone want to buy my 2016? I'm totally getting a 2018 now!

Yeah...I mean, other cars never wreck, right?

Odd you are getting so worked up over a red, back-lit, push button.

I should have clarified: Owners thinking they are professional drivers, not using TCS, and continuously wrecking them on camera while trying to show off. I think Mustangs are title holders on that one.

Next thing you know the 2020 Mustang will neigh when you hit the ignition, and everyone will think it's adorable how their little pony comes to life.

You'd be surprised at how dumb shit like this makes people feel special.

You all do realize that this is only going to be when you get in the car, and only BEFORE you start the car. ie: its RESTING heartbeat.

Once you start the car it should stop the "resting heartbeat".

I think its a "wow look at me" feature, but also to probably remind you that you might have left your keys in the car and its waiting to be started.
