The power is there, you are trapping what I trap. Once you get that 60' down You'll be in the 6s range

If you're on drag radials you'll have to bring the RPMs up and slip the clutch a bit. I am on Bias Ply tires so I can dump it at an RPM range. On my setup I dump at around 3800 RPM.

is it true for running bias ply you should have the front runners as well? i heard its bad to run street tire front and slicks rear.

People say that because there is a sway with a slick(bias ply) if you do not run front runners. Some bias ply tires do not sway as much as others, usually they are the DOT approved ones. I would recommend running front runners with them, although I've seen people run them with street tires on the front.
