I'm still waiting for them to send parts. Not holding my breath.

Interesting video. The one part they didn't show, however, was the intake tube itself, which is the heart of the system. PMAS uses a machined billet velocity stack to enhance airflow quality passing by the MAS, similar to Steeda. The JLT filter simply clamps to the end of the tube and uses a mesh screen to reduce turbulence which occasionally was an issue on S197 Coyote systems. My car runs great with the JLT. Hopefully PMAS will eventually send me the parts so I can do some testing.

i like the fact that they have an aluminum maf housing but that elbow is butt ugly and will not be going on my car. the actual numbers from dyno tests show them neck to neck and jlt wins extra credit points for prettiest in show. lol. i'll either go jlt or make my own. leaning more towards making my own.

Are you a fabricator/tuner? If not (and even if yes) the risk:reward seems pretty unfavorable as far as a DIY project.

I met Jay 4-5 years ago. Nice guy just trying to have a successful business. I agree that it looks like others are trying to profit from his hard work.

i've been known to make some things. :) its a pretty simple formula. 120mm inside diameter tubing, an airaid filter, and a mass air flow housing. i just need to find the stock heat shield from autonation to use as i would like to keep my stock one intact and i like the form factor. or i might just replace the filter, get a tune, and call it a day.

While you are reinventing the wheel keep in mind that the filter element is generally the least restrictive part of any given intake system, especially when the factory filter is already a large cone.
