My son and I installed the Steeda Q-series spoiler today after getting it back from the paint shop a couple of days ago. After an extensive search, we decided on the Steeda product since it emulates the GT350 spoiler yet it doesn't require drilling holes in the trunk. If you have an existing spoiler, this one will also cover the factory holes. Fitment was very good and the paint match was excellent. I followed Steeda's instructions but added some weight to sit on the spoiler until the 3M 540 polyurethane sealant cured. There is 3M mounting tape around the perimeter just outside the bead of sealant. I'll be tracking this car quite a bit and hope it stays on at ~160mph. We'll soon see :p

Waiting for the sealant to cure....

All good to go....

Don't usually think spoilers look good on the S550's, but man that looks good! Might have to add one to the mod list.

Thanks David. I've got several compliments already. Not too over the top and flows well with the car. Thanks for your help.

Looks excellent! Probably my favorite spoiler that I've seen for the S550.

I just received this spoiler and I was quite surprised it didn't have at the least removable studs or locating pins for those who have a factory spoiler and trunk holes already. Kinda stinks proper alignment is now left to me lol.

So, my real question is can this spoiler be removed without damaging it or the car in the future when I sell or trade my car? I have a factory spoiler so I have the holes and Im wondering if the 3M 540 polyurethane sealant is a permanent type product? I am assuming the footprint is larger than the factory GT spoiler and if any paint damage occurs it wouldn't be covered up when I put it back on?

Thanks for any help,

Jaime

Hey guys, just got my Steeda Q series spoiler put on. I had to search high and low at Ford dealers across the country to get the Ford factory trunk lid fade stripes to go over the spoiler and match the rest of the stripes. I really like this spoiler. It should've come with this spoiler from the factory.

Thanks, guys. Doing it with the stripes over the spoiler just made it match the car even better. (At least I think so). But it pissed me off that a pic turned out sideways. :tsk:

I like them! Personally the ones without a spoiler look like they're missing something! Good stuff Steeda.
