Wheels, FRPP lowering springs, and FRPP Touring catback installed. talk about a perfect tone for a convertible. Also I have found a way to fit my old windscreen from my 2013 to the car, and you'll notice in the last picture I have applied my black "GT" badge. As soon as it gets warmer the rest of them will also be swapped.

I know they aren't everybody's cup of tea, but I wanted something different than the tons of people with concave wheels.

and as a joke, showing off that deep lip in the back.

I've been second guessing myself since the second I hit the "checkout" button.

i got the 5.0 badges and GT for the trunk from UPR before I saw Ford had them as well. So I bought the black pony for the grille directly from Ford. Still waiting on that to ship actually.

the rubby red is looking awesome! did you have an exhaust on the older mustang and how would you compare the sound to the new frpp street?

On my old '13 I had the GT500 axlebacks, and later the Borla S-Type for the GT500, and then the Borla S-Type specifically for the Coyote.

Loudness it's right smack dab in the middle from what the GT500 exhaust was and the Borla S-Types were.

It's not loud, but it's not quiet. and it only screams when you make it scream.

It is totally an exotic sound. Seeing that the Maserati cross plane and the Ford cross plane engines don't sound all that different, it clearly leans that direction rather than what you'd expect generally from a Mustang.

I'm highly impressed with it and am actually quite glad that I went with a catback this time around instead of just screwing with axlebacks. That X-pipe makes a huge difference.

it seems a lot tighter and much more composed than my borla s-types were, and much more exotic with that x-pipe.

I'm tempted to screw around with other options. H-pipe and even no crossover at all...

thanks! i loved the sound of the gt500 axle backs on my 13 but alas no more :) from how you describe i feel a lot better with the idea of the frpp street. not the same sound as the gt500, but something ill like and louder but not too loud. all those hours of listening to youtube videos ugh....

FYI, I have the FRPP Touring - not the Sport. I'd rather have this for now. If/when I go catless it still won't be ridiculously loud like the sport would be catless.

There was a major volume difference between the old GT500 axlebacks and the Borla S-Types. The FRPP Touring (same as Borla Touring) is in the middle.
