Big_G which fuse did you connect it to? I'm hoping to wire mine up this weekend (using altjx's guide too [emoji106]) and be good to know how you connected yours.

I used the same 2 in the instructions mate, yellow wire to fuse2, red wire to fuse23, earth to the nut that's just above the accelerator. I'm not sure if it would be better having the earth on one of the bolts above the fuse box, they're directly attached to the body.

I'm not 100% sure which of the wires being incorrectly attached would cause the dashcam not to have power when the car is off. The instructions from Thinkware suggests any of them.

Thanks - I'll have a play with it when I install (hopefully on Saturday) - if I have any better luck I'll let you know!

Fuse2 is incorrect I believe, mirrors on the uk car don't fold unless the ignition is in acc. That means fuse2 doesn't have continuous power

Pretty late response but wanted to update the thread. Turns out that using the fuses in the guide for US cars at least allows for parking mode to work as well. For some reason my camera kept disabling parking mode (probably a software bug) and I never tried it again until about 2-3 weeks ago. After the last try, it worked perfectly fine.

Not too sure about the other fuses (the ones aside from the two I used) tbh. Sorry man! With the fuses that I used though, I could still use parking mode. Just would have to change the settings in the dash cam to cut off after x amount of time.

Great thanks for this - that'll really help when my car arrives.

Good job & thanks again for the write up!
So you never brought the rear camera also? I have both, but not sure where to fit the rear camera? behind the back seat?

I know you didn't quote me but I didn't buy the rear camera. I would have if I thought I'd be buying the light bar. That's the only place I can imagine it'll work. I'm not sure how the top folds down but I kind of doubt that a camera would work there, especially needing wiring and all the moving components with the vert.

Looks good. I recommend these to tie into the fuse box.

Update for anyone with a UK (possibly EU car as well).
The enhanced security package (immobiliser) on our cars shuts down all the circuits when you lock the car. Only way of getting constant power is to goto the battery fusebox in the engine bay.

Yes. This entire thread is dedicated specifically to the GT convertible. Vert is just short for convertible. I apologize for the images crapping out. I'll get that updated in just a minute, unless you had other questions?
