If you don't have drag radials. Get em. If you want to do it the hard way on the stock tires. A 1500RPM brake stand. On tires aired down to 25 pounds. Feeding in the throttle progressively at launch is your best bet.

Even that will be a struggle lund tuned on stock tires. You can feed in slowly but once you hit about 5,000 WOT it will spin, and then when it shifts second you will spin even worse. As Beast said get some better tires!

go around the water, heat tires a little, are down to like 25psi like stated....
brake torque it a little bit as to NOT shock the tires.

Put car in sport, traction off, BUT NOT ADVANCE TRACK OFF.....
put it sport shifter mode....but let car shift itself.

I did 11.88@117 with similar mods on street tires, NOT my drag radials.
it is hard though, to get good hooking launches on regular tires.

Drag radials, about 28lbs, good burn out, and flat hammer the car to help it launch
harder. Good luck, keep us in the loop....

I have found you have to heat the crap out of the stock tires to get them to hook. 1.76 60' on the stock 235' pzeros w/ a 6spd.

Impressive to get that on the stock 18's , what did you launch at being 6speed to make that happen?

About 1200rpm and slip it aggressively. You have to about it with an attitude of hatred towards the clutch.

Ran a 12.8 on cold track. 2.09 60 ft. Forgot to adjust air pressure. Nervous as hell. Car has a lot better time in it. Did do wonders for my confidence. Going again this Friday. Expecting much better times

Jpqintx, I'm in the same situation. I just added a PMAS and a custom HP Tuner 93 Octane tune on my 2015 auto w/3.15. I'm running at Bristol this weekend at 1/4 track. First trip to 1/4 track with this car. Ran twice last fall at local 1/8 track with BMR Cradle Lockout Kit and Poly Diff Bushings on stock tires. Ran a best of 8.19 @ 87 with a 1.93 60 ft. That is about a 12.60 or right around there. I air down my tires and I have tried launching from idle and then from differing RPMs. Shifter in D and then is S also. Just don't change too many things at one time so you can see what works and what doesn't. I think about what all I want to try and take a very scientific approach to it and document everything. I log local temps, humidity, calculate DAs, all of it. Just try different things and keep getting seat time and you will figure out what works best. I'm really hoping to get to 12.30 but Bristol is at a higher altitude than my local 1/8 track. Bristol is about 1600 ft above sea level. Temps should be decent so we will see what happens. My next mod is drag radials and then I will see if it is possible to get an 11.99. Good luck with your car this weekend! Have fun!

Thanks for the advice! Last time I was in D and in track mode. Was trying to launch between 15 and 1800. Believe lowering air pressure and not being nearly as nervous should drop times by .5 at least. After the first 60ft it pulls like a freight train. Looking at 17's with some 305's now.
