Very nice looking Mustang! Hope to see you at some events in Germany,Netherlands and the tracks this season.
Im going to plenty of events here in NL, and will be attending the Spring Event at the drift circuit in Weeze on April 29th.

Might see you around :)

Very very cool. I always loved the idea of the bellowing howl of a 5.0 screaming across Europe. Beautiful country out there. Congrats on the car! I have your US Doppelganger.

Wowsers, driven the car for the first time today with the new Steeda trans mount in.

Total transformation, it actually feels like a gated transmission

The short-shifter in combo with this mount should be on every S550s owner list of things to do. :headbang:

Some more progress from the land of Clogs....

First, a step back. Horrible road rash on the highway :(

Will be repaired in about 2 weeks time - and will be the thick end of $400. Sh*t :(

But on the brighter side....

- Underside of the car protected with rust inhibitor. Paid for by Ford.... thanks! :)

Most of the underside of my car was BARE metal.... doesnt bode well for a daily car when there is salt on the road. Sorted now though :)

The car has been lowered on Ford Eibach OEM PRO-LINE springs. I dont think these are available in the US, but have recently been added to the dealer accessories catalogue in Europe. They are linear springs with an approx 25mm drop.

To compliment them, ive added Alutec spacers. 25mm front and 23mm rear.

And heres a few random pics with colleagues cars I have spotted at work:

Next mod will be a Steeda lower brace (waiting on delivery) and then at the end of the month im having a Velossa Big Mouth fitted. Whilst the bumper is off, ill add in my USDM GT lower grill.

More progress with the car.

Unfortunately it got hurt... something flew from a truck on the highway and bounced down the front fender :( $400 to fix, painful as that would almost be the price of a MGW shifter or similar.

Damage:

But happily the repair is perfect:

Today I had a Velossa Big Mouth fitted and removed the honeycomb section on the grille. Whilst the bumper was off I had a US spec GT lower grille fitted. Such a good improvement!!

I have some Anchor Room reflector tints on the way, along with a skull/Coyote badge for the interior.

And finally, MRR wheels should be sponsoring the car! Fine details are yet to be worked out but if everything goes to plan it should be sporting a set of the frankly AMAZING M600 flow-forged wheels in the near future. !! :)

and some other random pics from the last few weeks (in no chronological order)....

Installed a Steeda Extreme G-Trac Lower K-Brace. Very easy install. This is now in combo with my existing Steeda upper strut brace. :)

Ive changed quite a bit since last time I posted, although I cant quite remember everything.

However, today I shall remember......

Custom valved system! All locally designed, made and installed here in The Netherlands. Its a work of art and sounds epic. Better videos to come next week.

Due to the way the valve works, in quiet mode its actually quieter than the normal OEM system..... perfect!

Tomorrow the car is one year old! Time flies.

I stopped logging the average mpg via an app a (long) time ago, but I discovered that the OBC is freakishly accurate, so happy to rely on that.

Trip 2 has been running since I rolled out of the dealership (20 full days in the car, bloody hell!)

14.9L/100km = 19mpg. Considering how the car gets driven, im happy with that.

Ive commuted in the car just about every day, and enjoyed every last bloody second of it.

Rough calcs show its drunk its way through approx €7,000 of 98RON

Mod costs: approx €8k I should think (im not adding it up).

Insurance has averaged to about €150 per month

Tracker €20 per month.

2 complete sets of rear tyres (new set gone on today). Fronts still at 4mm+ (impressive).

Only real problem has been the aircon in the last month.

Overall a stunning result I think :) Although it was relatively cheap to buy, id estimate my running costs to be around €2k per month all-in. But I spend a lot on random crap :hehe:

As mentioned, new rears on today. I was hugely impressed with the PS3s, but they werent available this time at a good price, so ive gone with Vredestein Ultrac Cento. Excellent reviews, I like Vreds, made in NL and €200 per corner fitted. At the rate im going through rears im just not willing to spend the €400ish per corner on the MPSS or PS4S.

So happy birthday Mustang. Good on ya!
