Lincoln revealed the MKC...here:
http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=925

That said it has a 275/300 2.3 EcoBoost.

Also check out some new 2015 Colors that may trickle down to Mustang:

It would be tough to charge more for an engine that has less hp than the V6, but a 30hp (more than 10%) bump from the MKC also seems a bit over-reaching. Why not put 300hp in the MKC?

For comparison the 2.0 EcoBoost in the Fusion is rated at 240/270, so that would be an equal bump from the 2.0->2.3 if they were to get the 2.3 to 300hp.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

Well, rumor has it this motor will not only see its way into the mustang but the Focus RS as well. That car may end up being Europe only, but the 2.3 in the RS is supposed to be at minimum over 300, as the last gen was 300 base with a 350hp special edition.

The Smoked quartz looks real nice but I gotta say seeing some of the renders chaz did that white platinum metallic might look amazing on the S550.

If you ask me button arrangement on the steering wheel and center stack is exactly how they should've done the S550. It strikes the right balance and it doesn't look cluttered even with all those buttons.

I really like how the button cluster on the steering wheel looks, small and tucked away.

Woah looks nice exterior wise and the interior looks like good quality but I absolutely hate them getting rid of the shifter column. They r using buttons now.. (to the left of the infotainment screen) WTF Ford.

Good grief those colors are boring / horrible.
^This. They all have beige in them. I think my grandma had curtains in each of these colors. Only thing missing are clear protective seat covers.

Just looked at the pictures of this. Rear valance and exhaust is straight off a Ford Escape. The concept had a nicer valance and integrated exhaust. Disappointing that they chopped it off for a parts bin valance.

Totally different kind of buyers for the Lincoln brand, guys. Some Mustang colors would just not work here, on this car or with those buyers.

That said, the karat gold color is interesting. I wonder how that would look on the S550.

It isn't just Ford -- many manufacturers are doing it now. It started (I think) with the Jag. Now even the new Merc C-class has gotten rid of that:

When you think about it -- you really don't need a shifter any more (on auto-only vehicles) -- so why not get rid of it and make for a cleaner, more usable interior?

Sure, for enthusiasts, we will probably miss any reference back to the good old days when you felt connected to your car through the shifter, but those days are fading quickly now (sadly).

Those Karat Gold and Tahitian Pearl colors looks hideous. Can't see many units selling with either of those two colors
