kapiteinlangzaam how is the lowered driving experience so far? Harder, softer? etc. thx!

Notes

So far, so (overwhelmingly) good.

Ive had a chance to push it a bit today on smaller roads... it does feel very different! The main difference is the lack of 'float', which is one the characteristics of the stock GT suspension. It now recovers very quickly from bumps in the road, so that feels very different. After 17k kms on the stock suspension, this will take some getting used to!

Overall comfort is unaffected in my view. The only negative for me is that its quicker to follow camber or defects in the road, which means the front end/steering feels less 'relaxed'. I actually think this might be to do with my alignment. So far it was only aligned by my local place and I didnt see any readouts for the figures. Im thinking ill take it to a more specialised alignment shop and ask if they can cure the 'nervousness'.

All of this is very personal though, if that makes sense. I like it, but equally for the same results another person could hate it.

I certainly have no regrets :)

For a spring only lowering application (with the stock dampers) I'd spend a few bucks more and go for either Steeda or Ford Motor Sport.

I'm not on the money, I just look to have the car as low I can with the stock dampers.
I spotted this picture on the German forum with the KW Springs and I really love the look of the car.
I also love the Eibach Sportline kit but they are not available in the EU and I'm a but tired now of all the import taxes

Those are the ones I got (ecoboost version). Very happy with them! No problems what's so ever.
Thanks you very much for your feedback Nicolas. So you installed them in -30mm on the stock dampers ? have you also changed the Camber Bolts ?

Guys,

What do you think about this product ?

KW Springs -30mm VA/HA : https://www.velocity-group.de/fahrw...ungssatz-spiralfedern-vorne-und-hinten?c=8282

Good or Bad ?
I was informed again that Eibach Pro's at 172€ are not available anymore at Ford store dealers. I actually hoped the EB versions would become available as well.

So I looked a bit further and the Eibach pro street version looks appealing to me, except the price point  or maybe it was Stephanie who convinced me

If you want a coilover set, I'd seriously consider the Pedders. Price-Quality on those things is nuts. I was going to update you about them somewhere, but couldn't find the thread anymore

Can't drive the car myself right now cause I'm in a plaster cast and I got a MT :frusty: But installed them like 2 weeks ago had BAE driving with the car with me next to it. I'm still looking for what settings I prefer (I put it all the way on comfort at first, but that just was a little to floaty for my taste). Once I've figured out the correct comfort setting and can drive myself again, I'd be happy to hoonigan the car around to see how they do :D

I researched the Pedders a couple weeks ago, they look indeed interesting as well.

And here's Stephanie again :D

Interesting info guys, just hold our breath now till the EB's are available.
Speedshop ain't that far from Ghent neither. Reputation is ok, anyone been there?

Will start my second MOD wave soon : Wheels, Seq taillights, steering wheel, side markers, lowering. And then sell everything and move to the 2018 ?! :D

These supply issues (in some parts) seem very strange.

A friend here in NL (not on the forums) just ordered a set from Van Mossel Ford Store in Helmond.

Delivered in 4 days with zero issues.

Great guys at the Speedshop, a buddy who's coming to Lux had his GT tuned there. The real-time tuning/programming trip we did was quite interesting and I experienced the backseat of the S550 for real ;-)

Really? I am currently stongly considering saving up the money, sell the EB and import a used 2015 GT from Germany in about 1 or 2 years.

I think Régis aka UNtamed67 is joking ... but then again?

My Stang got only 3000km in one year and before starting to upgrade/ change it I was also thinking that an import had some benefits but in the end I decided to stay with this one as I like it a lot and for sure more than the 2018 from the outside.

To sell your current to buy an import is imo a waste of money unless you drive a lot and need to make costs or so for your company.
