I like to disassemble things.
I know it seems like it has been awhile. It has and for good reason.

Refinement.

I've watched George develop this thing from day one and it has been an amazing process to watch his work take shape. He and I have had one of his iterations in our cars for a few months now and I can't begin to tell you how much better it has made the car for me. I couldn't ever imagine going back to the stock unit. I'm looking forward to seeing the reaction of others that go with one as well.

I asked him for a few photos as the pieces show back up from being anodized, heat treated, etc, prior to assembly (which will begin shortly). Thankfully, he sent some my way today.

These are just a few. This shifter works differently than anything else out there and sets the bar about as high as it can go. I'll ask for more when assembly begins. Those of you that have waited patiently - boy are you gonna be happy.

Me crazy, and I can't help myself
Looks great, i can't wait to hear the feedback from people once they install. On the MGW shifters for the MT-82, what are the biggest improvements that people notice?

Not only have I been checking their website and Facebook page twice daily, I've started checking my junk email box in case I've missed my notification! This is worse than waiting for my car. I need a life.

I had an MGW on my Boss and was very happy with it.

That said, the shifter is basically the last thing the 350 needs IMO.

Agreed. Please explain how the MGW is supposed to improve the shifting exactly? The shifter in my 350 is excellent. I'm not sure how it could be improved? I've driven manual Camaros, Vettes and Vipers and the 350'shifter is by far the best.
Switching to the Steeda clutch spring, on the other hand, made a world of difference, but I just can't fathom how the stock shifter could be improved. On a side note, I have never driven a manual Porsche or Miata for comparison in regards to shifter smoothness.

Matt if the shifter is the last basically thing the 350 needs! What would be your first choice just Curious. Thanks John

Pretty cool that George is still around. He made me a billet shifter for my 99 Viper GTS back then. He only makes top notch stuff for sure.

Still around?? LOL You make it sound like I am 90:lol::lol::lol::lol::lol:

I know some of you guys THINK the OEM shifter is great , but when you actually see it and shift the MGW next to it, you will indeed see the light :headbang::headbang::headbang:

I think the stock shifter is just OK but do not like the North-South end of travel feel....too soft. I know MGW designs and manufactures precise components and I'm confident the resulting shifter will be fantastic.

Had an MGW on my last Pony. Meh. Too lose on shifts. I want to feel the shifts. Best shifter I had was on my Shelby GT (Hurst).
