Whipple discussion

My understanding is that our 98RON is equivalent to US 93. Could be wrong.
It SEEMS that Whipples tune is fairly conservative also eg. Will be fine but not "optimal" for those chasing ultimate power.
Perhaps a vendor with an interest in selling 10 or more kits can chime in and clear up any confusion on the matter?

Gee, I'd be interested in a group discount if a manufacturer was interested. I'd be happy to pay a deposit to lock myself in, as our cars are still getting here all over the place and obviously they all couldn't be done at once.

I've not upgraded a car before, and don't really have the time to do much running around for a bit here and a bit there. A quality one-stop shop, with warranty, would make my day.

Having said that, I plan to talk to a couple of the big installers here in Vic, now that I have a VIN and a rough idea of when the car will be here.

Ok guys, I deliberately kept pricing off the forum because I thought it was against the rules, but it seems that there's nothing prohibited here so here's where it's at.
In the WORST CASE scenario, the basic Whipple kit will cost approx $10,500 AUD, landed to your doorstep.
BEST CASE, you'll get out of it for less than $9,000
Yes, it's still an expensive option BUT it's worth considering this -
$10,500 /200Kw = circa $50 per Kw, with the option of easily upgrading to more GO via larger TB etc.
By comparison, you'd need to get out of an engine back exhaust for $5,000 to be getting equal value. However, once your exhaust is done, you're not gonna find another 100kw's by spending another $5,000...
In fact, With the blower fitted, an engine back exhaust ceases to make sense because it will
Only get you another 15 or so Kw's
My point being, PLAN YOUR MODS and spend your money WISELY.
