Anyone here installed the MGW race-spec shifter?

What happened with this GB?

I'm still in.

New shifter sent by steeda has sorted out my problems. So for now I'll be sticking with it. Original one was the old design. New remodelled version which is shorter, different collar and with different angles in the actual shaft was the one they should have sent in the first place.

I'm in no rush. My GT is still a roll of sheet metal sat in a Michigan steel yard.

Some are waiting on the flat stick shifters too right? Anybody of those that are interested in a rush? Otherwise I'd say to wait on the flat sticks, try to get 5 (or more) until then and set a date

So far no success in the EU section.

edit: flat sticks were launched today

Pug and myself are ok waiting for the flat stick, however we will probably order within the next month or so.

C'mon guys, get on board, this is a very civilised price

Or if you dont want to wait the Steeda Mustang Race Shifter is in stock in the UK.....

I'm back on board for this 100%. Having had this one on for a couple of weeks now and could do better springs to mind. Ideally would like to order personally asap. Have we got enough to order soon?

Surely, this is like saying, "If you don't want to wait for your Mustang, there's a nice Kuga available in the showroom now"?

I will I promise!! Is there an increase in NVH? When I put a Steeda shifter in my S197 it was noisy and notchy. I'm hoping this one is better?

Mm hard to say MGW shifter was installed with headers Mcleod clutch 1 piece Dynotech prop etc so I do have marginally more NVH but still running everything in and center console still out the car but the feel is top notch gear selection 1st rate :headbonk:

It's 4x yes right now. C'MON NR5.

I'll set-up a pre-order page on my website with all the different options to chose from. So we can get this started. Just send MGW a mail about the flat sticks and will update here when they get back.

Just posted in a couple of facebook groups to see if we can get at least one more. Fingers crossed now.

If no progress is made on this by Sunday night I'll be ordering my shifter as I want this on the car asap.
