Great! Thanks. Adding to the list.

I will be doing another HPDE session next month so I can provide a light track perspective on the StopTechs.
That would be cool. I wish some of the guys who bought more expensive options would chime in. I had used Hawk pads before on a previous car and was happy. I'd like to know if your can have the best of both worlds, OEM or better stopping without dust. The brake dust from the OEM pads was crazy.

Edit: Thank you for adding my info.

The dust is a badge of honor.

Obviously GLoc has about 6 pads for our cars. I have the 12's for track day work. Dust and noise baby! (I'll run the OEM pads on the street until they wear out.)

Going to put in the stoptechs in a littlw while. Looks like they will be dusty as well and i amnok with that as long as they have a good bite.

Here they are next to the 2000 r pads for my cobra. Just a bit more surface :)

Ferodo makes a DS2500. That would be the best dual purpose pad you can get.

Just adding an update with what I found on my recent purchase. Ordered OEM pads from LeviTownFordParts.com I ordered FR3Z-2001-N for my '16 GT PP Front pads. The box also referenced BRF-1553-1X

I know a lot of people over time have suggested the Powerstop Z26 for dailys. I'm honestly not a huge fan of them other than the lack of brake dust. I'm possibly going to look into a bit more aggressive pad.

The brake pedal effort you have to use to stop is significantly higher compared to OEM pads. They feel almost...squishy (best adjective I could think of to describe). They aren't terrible for light use in traffic but pushing them any harder on the street - they are not the most confidence inspiring.

I read about a lot of pads and I stuck with the OEM. Other than dust I have no complaints. They work great on the street. I'm more worried about getting rear ended than rear ending someone else.

Your information about the G-LOC R10 and R8 isn't really accurate. For the majority of HPDE folk, those two work great together on the S550. Excellent bite, high temp capability.

Many do R12/10 also.

What do you do with the car, and what do you want from the brakes that the pp pads do not?

What pads would you recommend for strong intial bite like OEM but little dust?

Really like the sharpness of the stock pedal feel but the dust is retarded..
