Hate my door panels/replacing/modifying

So I'm working on new door panels anybody come up with a way to mount the window/mirror switches. I bought a set of replacement panels and have pulled the entire center section, whole armrest switch section is gone. Going to go with a small old style armrest mounted where I want it. I like to flush mount my existing window/mirror switch but how do you come up with a bezel????:shrug:
To me the door panels are just too much plastic and look very cheap.

so you're going to make new leather door panels or a home made/racer type door panel? any pics of what you're going for or what you've made?
