Supercharger doesn't change the fact the engine was designed for 5W20 in normal driving applications. I use 5W40 on a road course but on the street, even if I had a super-duper-de-fabulous-charger I'd run Penn Ultra Plat 5W20 without a worry.

Everything I read tells me it's one of the best motor oil you can run at this time...

Penz Ult Plat is what I normally run. Had some spare MC stuff I wanted to get rid off.

I'd like to try the ultra plat but no walmarts near me carry it. Everywhere else is almost the price at what I can get Amsoil for.

Mobile 1 5w20 Ford Racing Oil Filter...I have always ran M1 irrespective of the car and cannot say i have ever had oil related issues with it (20 years and multiple platforms of racing).

Whatever the manufacture calls for I run with it being synthetic.Only way I might consider running something different is if I was doing road course racing, and even then i.would use it only for whatever event I was running.

I have been running Amsoil Signature Series since getting the car new in early 2015. 5w-20 for 3500 miles. Switched to 5w-30 when going boosted...at 18k now. No issues and doesn't use a drop.

5w20 Castrol, compression was golden. I do change my oil every 2500 or so (which is basically a years worth of driving for me).

Motorcraft Full Synthetic 5W50 as recommended by my shop and engine builder. When I was at your power level I used Royal Purple 5W20 HPS.

I am running 655RWHP after the work Brenspeed did to my car this spring. They told me to use Motorcraft Full Synthetic 5W50 as well.

I believe I'm only around 700whp but I stick to 5W-20.

The variable cam timing components work based on oil and they are designed for 5W-20 so that's what I stick with.
