2015-17 Califorinia edition front splitter swap

I have a 2017 GT premium convertible and want to change out my front splitter with the larger GT California edition front splitter. Has anyone done this? does the front bumper fascia have to be removed or can it be done while on the car?

Do you have a performance pack GT? If so, you will need the base GT belly pan for the CS splitter to fit. Just realised you have a convertible, so no PP.

If you have a base GT, the CS splitter will bolt right on, no need to remove the bumper cover.

I did this a while back. The CS splitter fits the non-PP bellypan without any mods. It is a direct bolt up.
