Auto vs manual driveshaft

Does anyone know what the difference is in the automatic driveshaft? I am swapping a 6R80 into my manual car and I am wondering what is different about the driveshaft.

I believe the auto driveshaft is shorter than the manuals.

It would be nice to confirm this. I wonder if you can take them apart and create one that will work if you have a stock auto and a stock manual one.

Transmission flanges are different and differential flanges are different.

Im also pretty positive the automatic driveshaft is shorter as well.

So if thats the case what are guys swapping from manuals to auto's doing for driveshafts.I know everyone doing the swap is not buying a custom driveshaft??

You buy a driveshaft for a auto car and change the flange on the differential from manual to auto.

I talked to shaft masters about this and they said they could but wanted a measurement just in case. I don't have anything to base it on.
