So I'm getting some used wheels and plan to powdercoat them . I have grabber blue and want it too be different . So many people just do black . So help me out I'm thinking bronze , orange or candy red
Every so often we get guys come into the shop that want their wheels powder coated. 9 out of 10 times it comes out killer, but we do warn them... if they are cheapo wheels they will warp in the oven when being cured. its only happened a couple of times but just wanted to throw that out there. Be sure they are decent wheels before sticking them in the oven.
I think the unspoken rule is if your paint is obnoxious then you keep wheels and trim subtle, but if you have a subtle pait job you can be more obnoxious on your wheels and trim. With your proposed setup you're basically screaming at everyone as you drive down the road.
Taking then bronze like a rootbeer finish or a black with heavy metallic my thing is I'm paying to have them powde coated I want it to be different and not just plain Jane black
