GT Premium at 36k

MSRP on mine is $44,370

Koon's is advertising my exact combination for $36,500 roughly.

I'm expecting around that with the incentive available, but we'll see. May be more around the 37k area.

This is with:

GT Premium
401A
Performance Pack
Premier Trim
Enhanced Security
Nav (I use Project Fi so I don't want to use data on my phone)
Ok that sound like a great deal but is that out the door including destination & delivery, taxes, tag, doc fees, fuel charges minus dealer holdback, rebates or dealer discounts ?

37k is before TTL with the rebates.

So it'll probably be close to 39k depending on your trade. With a 20k trade in you're still looking at nearly 1400 in taxes and add in about 450 for title and registration plus any fees.

And that's if you go through koons. Rarely have I read someone beating koons by a decent margin. Not that it isn't possible, but not usual.

OTD with 7% tax your probably looking at close to 39k as others have said. If you want to get OTD down around 36k gonna be hard to do with the 401A AND PP, likely have to choose between the two.

IF you want the absolute best price, your better off waiting until this fall when the 18's start hitting the lots. 17's will be discounted heavily at that time. Obviously there are downsides, waiting and selection. FWIW I got my 2016 a couple weeks ago as a leftover model. Sticker was 42k my OTD was 31500. Huge savings if you don't mind waiting (or can score a 16 leftover now).

Tempted to go base GT lighting blue w/ Performance Package and just add:

1. Roush R2300 670HP Supercharger - Phase 1 Kit
2. The Driveshaft Shop Carbon Fiber One Piece Driveshaft - Manual
3. The Driveshaft Shop Halfshaft Axle Assembly - 800 HP - Left Side
4. The Driveshaft Shop Halfshaft Axle Assembly - 800 HP - Right Side
5. Barton Hybrid 3 Shifter - MT-82
6. Modern Billet GT350 Style Shift Knob - Direct Fit - Red
7. Ford Racing sub frame and differential bushings

Of course I may also be tempted to drop the performance package all together get a 6-speed manual with 3.55 gears. I know the torsen differential is not really great for drag racing. I really think a track setup I would enjoy more than the 1/4 mile races.

To be honest on its price you'd be able to get a pretty damn good deal. Seen some really good deals on base pp hrs. And you could add parts as you desire over time.

Torsen Differential

Yeah and I can always swap out the pumpkin with a more friendly drag gear and dump the torsen differential. :D

Think I am going to drop the 401A & Reverse Sensing

Shaker™ Pro Audio System with 12 speakers - Going to upgrade it my way !
HD Radio™ - Nice but not necessary.
Driver’s seat, mirrors, and ambient lighting with memory feature - Again not necessary.
BLIS® (Blind Spot Information System) with cross-traffic alert - Have old school habits so again not necessary.

Reverse Sensing - have a backup camera and I am sure will be a PITA to clean off extra wax with the round sensors on the bumper. Plus I like a clean look.

Yeah Just cut out 2k out of the price of the car. Just like that.

My 2017 Config:

GT Premium
400A
Performance Pack
Premier Trim
Enhanced Security

DONE. ;) Now within Budget.

Ended up getting mine from Koon's after the one I ordered from a local dealership came in with more blemishes from the factory than I was ok with. Luckily when I was shopping around, Koon's went ahead and ordered a car to my spec just in case. Glad they did as it left me with a backup car. Wasn't happy about the one that came in jacked up but how lucky was I to have a backup just a few hours away exactly to my spec.

Anyways all said and done I got it OTD for $38,253 with GAP insurance included.

I am timing my purchase, like you I have owned many different cars over the years. I started driving at 15 now am 54. Each car was a joy to drive because each one brought something different to the table. Here's my list of cars.
You can see from the list I was a big Pontiac fan.

Don't time it to far out or you might not get what you are wanting. If you want premier trim but not 401A, you are pretty likely to need to order one.

So far I am loving the car. =)

Yeah being a salesman for over 20 years I know the tactic.
Just like posting a fantastic price on the internet on a Mustang
that does not exist. There is a dealer down south that had a 2017 Ford Mustang GT Performance Package for 29k. When I asked to see it the salesman just told me Oh I sold that one already. Funny thing is the Mustang is still up on their site after a month of being sold.

Yeah, I'm not going across the country for it either. I have a feeling my local dealer will do just fine plus I don't deal with the hassle of having to get an inspection here again just to register it.
