A+++ for the new GForce "850hp" S550 Half Shafts!

Just wanted to give a shout out to GForce Engineering for making these new lower power offerings. I am somewhat doubtful of the 850 rating, as I think they will likely handle more....based on my experiences with GForce for the past 6 years, but nonetheless - these things are sweet!

I have not had them installed for very long, but I am going to try my best with my "500hp" car to demolish them.

These new shafts are very similar to the FRPP Half-Shafts. They look similar, weigh about the same for superior strength, and are of extreme quality.

A few things I forgot to mention.

I have been fighting a very minor, yet sharp vibration at highway speeds ever since acquiring this car. Those are now completely gone.

Also, the wheel hop on the normal street tires is much less harsh - it recovers and lessens much quicker than it did with the stock shafts. I attribute this to the additional weight of the shafts compared to stock.

So the vibration went away and the only thing you changed at that time was the axles correct?

How about those camber links!
I wish you guys made those in stock lengths.

Okay, gotta ask. What HP are people finding the stock shafts are good for? I suppose if installing wheely bars upgraded shafts are wise, but what about the rest of us?

A few people are snapping stock shafts while stock with slicks and just a few passes on the track.

This is accurate.

We were able to break the stock halfshafts on a stock PP GT.

Still stock driveshaft? I'm looking to do both from G-Force.

Is there any increased drivetrain lash in the CV joints?

My FRPP axles from Gforce have some crazy lash in the CVs which makes driving the car significantly less pleasant. Id consider moving to something with less strength since i dont really track the car and likely do not need these crazy FRPP pieces.
