Maybe it's just me, but I ran 18" on my 2005 also and actually like the balance of wheel & tire. I did consider going 19" but am happy with my ride. Never was big into the "how much wheel can I fit" approach, and I may be seeking more balance between comfort and performance than some on these boards.18's on your otherwise exceptional build just look wrong.
Semi It's not installed yet, but I'm going to be running the following:What kind of stereo you running that requires that much power and who did it for you? My truck has a simple 12" sub but it's a 79 and I think it's only 72 amp. I need an upgrade, tired of dead batteries.
is the pulley smaller on the alternator? I know the 300+ mechman alternator requires a shorter belt because their pulley is smaller.Today I removed my sound tube, installed my Boost and fuel pressure A-pillar gauges, changed my differential oil, and installed my Singer 370A alternator.
Rinsed it off real quick (real wash on tues) and took it for a drive. Boost gauge wont work till Friday when the P1X goes in .
Semi It's not installed yet, but I'm going to be running the following:
~8000W RMS
2 x 12" Fi Audio SP4v2 Subwoofers
Hertz Millie Legend Active 3 Way Front (Tweeter, Mid, Woofer)
Hertz Millie Pro Coaxial Rear
2 x Rockford Fosgate T2500-1bdcp (Rated @ ~3500W each)
Rockford Fosgate T600-4
Rockford Fosgate P400X4
Helix DSP Pro
370A Singer Alternator
XS Power D4700 Front
XS Power D3100 Rear
KnuKonceptz 1/0 AWG Power/Ground
I'll be installing it myself. The alternator was custom made by Singer Alternators. I highly recommend him, the owner is great at responding and helping with any concerns. Great product so far and I've read alot of good things on audio forums.
Yes the pulley is a bit smaller. The stock belt still works with it however with no belt slip so far.is the pulley smaller on the alternator? I know the 300+ mechman alternator requires a shorter belt because their pulley is smaller.
Thanks...yes..it has black quads..last year I added the premium bumper,Roush rear velance and Corsa sport axle backs with quad tips.Nice ride! Does the car have quad tips?
make sure you check it after a long drive. having some trouble with mine leaking at the bottom connection point of the sight tube once the car is up to running temps. slow little trickle out that point that drips. Ran the damn thing empty..... :frusty:
