Any new auto swaps successes

Has anyone else performed a 6R80 auto swap? I still want to do this in my 2015 PP car.

Yeah they have a few in stock. I feel like they are a bit over priced. I am not worried about the parts I am trying to figure out what madules need to be changed, andhow to reprogram them. I am also curious if all the functionality of the car appears factory stock like paddle shifters. I know you need a new cluster but I am not sure how to get mileage switched as well.

id be interested if the new 10 speed will be swappable...

I would think the 6 speed woyuld be more desiable at your power level. The 6R80 is proven as well.

ya the 6r80 is a great auto. but this 10 speed form my understanding is supposed to be faster.. its in the new ZL1 ill be anxious to see a 6r80 mustang vs a 10 speed mustang

It will be faster at lower horsepower levels but may be too violent at higher levels. I think you should convert yours to 10 speed and sell me the 6R80 LOL.

A dealer can swap mileage between clusters. Doubt it'll be cheap.

A friend of mine said that the cadillac dealer he worked at sent them off to have mileage changed.

I believe Boostworks has done this swap successfully, maybe they can chime in

The IDS tunning process is thebiggest gap in myknowledge. It is also difficult to do the tunning at a shop unless they do the swap because the car is not drivable until the ECU and other modules are reflashed.
