Does anyone know what used MT-82s are going for? I am thinking about pulling mine and installing a 6R80 and I need to know what it is worth.

$1000

Well he charges $1750 for a stage two build if you supply a good trans to start with..so...I would say $2000 - $2500 would be a fair range.

Almost new, just a little broke...lol
I'm shipping it back up to Ben to rebuild it and make it "almost brand new", that is why I worded it like that.

You will break it again if you keep the RXT in there.

I'm not putting it back in, I just don't want to sell a broken trans. I would rather get it fixed and sell it for a little more.

I'm going to swap in a magnum XL.

Thats a great idea...didn't even think of that..could you let me know how you are shipping it and with who and the cost? I would strongly suggest getting the 2.97 first and not the 2.66 if it's an option in the magnum.

Last time I shipped it FedEx ground up to Ben C for around $150-160, I will probably do the same thing this time around.

I was going to buy a used one from a member on here, it has the 2.66 but would save me some money buying his.

Understand...should be fine. After you get it in see what you think. I am probably going to move into a 3.91 or 4.11 rear gear here soon myself. The 3.73's are on the edge with these trans gearing.
