don't have an abbott box, I went the msd route
I used a relay for the lock out.
pin 30 to main power
pin 87 to lock out solenoid
pin 85 to ground
pin 86 to brake light switch
lock out solenoid black wire to ground (used transmission bolt closest to solenoid)
lock out solenoid red wire to pin 87 of relay

Finished up my 4.11 US Gear install last night. All around a much better driving combo with them.

How much power you making? I have 3.55 now been debating going 3.73 or 4.10 but don't want to introduce even more wheel spin.

Where did you buy the gears from? I haven't seen 4.11s for sale for 15+

Right now about 650 will know Monday after my tuning session. I would've gone steeper if I was staying at the power level. Ultimate goal is to make 900-950 rwhp and 9.xx @145-150 so that'll put me through the traps in fourth @ 7600 rpm.

I got the Lightning series with the isotropic superfinish. Ordered through Jegs and had in three days even though it said it would take longer. http://www.usgear.com/p/high-performance-product-catalog.pdf page 8 has the options and part numbers

Nice! Most anyone should be able to install right? Just need gear press?

I've been debating which would be better. Lowering gears to like 3.0 and less shifting or raise to 4.10 and more shifting.

I know with 3.55 I don't use 6th unless doing 90 plus.

I see they have a 3.91 also...that looks promising. I like the 11 tooth pinion.
Did you move from 3.73 to the 4.11?

the gearing in the 6060 is so much different than the MT82. i put a chart together comparing different rear ratios with the different trans ratios. To simplify.....if you have 3.73s the car will drive like you had 3.10s in it with the MT82. If you move up to a 3.91 rear the car will drive like a MT82 car with 3.30s in it. Going to a 4.10 with the 6060 the car will drive like a MT82 car with 3.50s.

Yes I went from 3.73 to 4.11
Doodguy, much more to it then just installing them. If you've never set up a ring and pinion its not a learning curve you want to just figure out. I've been an ASE master tech for almost 20 years

Been doing a little more research on this.
The GT500's have this trans and from what I can find out most came with 3.31's in the rear.
In the 13-14 GT500's Ford went to the 2.66 1st gear transmissions. The earlier GT500's had the 2.97 1st gears (like what's in the Ben C 6060).
I was reading in one of the GT500 forums one of the big performance mods a lot of the GT500 cars did was go to a 3.73 rear gear... they all raved about it. This would be the same as our PP cars from the factory with ours being similar, or greater, HP numbers. This is good...:D
I like the idea of maybe bumping up to the 4.11 or even 3.91 if once everything is together and the car feels sluggish. We will wait and see.

What are you running for fluids in the TR6060 and what amount required?
