I got turned down. Glad because this saved my marriage and retirement.
Well I did buy my bucket list car back in 2009.

That's Brooks Weisblat... he owns Drag Times. Lives near my area... he has a pretty good set of highline & supercar collection in his 3-car garage with but 3 lifts to fit 6... my idol.

He's a fan of Teslas. I think he has 3 now including a Model X. Besides a newer M4, a new Huracan, and an F430 Spider... he also has these:

Well he was selected because he will represent the brand.
From the mouth of a Ford salesman there are only 250 units for 7000 applicants! Ford wants to see how do you relate to the brand. They also want the car to be seen and driven. Not garage queen'ed!lol!
So people that have the means of properly representing the brand (like this guy since he owns drag time, like for example racing driver Mario Andretti and so on) will get theirs.
Interesting concept. We'll see if it works out.

And I still wouldn't be chosen!

I'd rather enjoy a small number of much lower-priced cars than trying to chase one half-a-mill unicorn that's unobtanium for mere mortals like me/us.
