its two fold. 1. exactly. some supercharger setups require the engine to be dropped 1/2" and 2. a lower engine is always good to lower the center of gravity for handling.

If you need someone to test fit them, who can modify and weld them, if there are any problems, and report my findings, I can do that. Definitely putting these on the short list!

Worth noting, there is a ground wire (I think maybe for the starter... didn't look too hard) that attaches to the passenger side forward bolt. Don't forget to re-install that bugger y'all!

We do all of that here - and have already finished the development process.

Correct, re-connecting the ground (how and where) is going to be shown in the instructions.

Does the whipple require a lowered engine?

As soon as you want to sell a set let me know. I have a Whipple on the way, so it would be nice to have while tearing down the car for that process.

dumb question here... will this cause any engine-to-ground clearance for lowered cars? eg. oil pan

mmm will the cobra jet intake fit with out any modification to the hood now? also I mean do you guys honestly think your going to be able to tell a difference in handling with the engine just slightly lower. (Not being an ass literally asking this question is it going to be a noticeable difference?)
