Was tracking my car so know it arrived at the dealer on Wednesday afternoon however no one from the dealer called me. Since I didn't receive a phone call I decided to go in yesterday afternoon and finalise the paperwork and found they hadn't even touched my car so was not happy.

Initially they were talking about handing The car over to me next Friday or Saturday but told them it was not good enough given it has been 435 days since I placed my order so now taking deliver 5:30pm on Monday, finally the wait is almost over.

Has anyone experienced damage to there cars in transit or imperfections yet?

My bootlid alignment needs fixing - it's higher on the drivers side also I have condensation in the drivers side head lamp and fog/DRL lens. Front bar and fender join is a bit off too but all pretty minor things all in all.

This is a very common issue - I also have it.

You would think that they'd have sorted this out by now.

Anyone not received their new Pony yet off the Figaro? It is most certainly worth the wait and I think I grow to like it more and more each day, whether that be driving it or just going out and staring at it. Absolute head turner!

I did notice the common boot lid alignment problem, but was thinking of asking them to fit my replacement one when it arrives in lieu of fixing it!

Still waiting on mine, told them to make sure the car is 110% before I pickup as I don't want to come back for issues that should of been sorted at PD. The aim is Friday morning at this stage but will let everyone know if and when anything changers.

Isn't the fix for this the boot lid alignment itself and not the black deck lid panel? If so they won't fix it by changing the deck lid.

Correct - there are two common symptoms that stem from boot lid misalignment.

Firstly, the right hand side of the boot lid itself sits a touch high when compared to the quarter panel.

The other common one is that the deck lid panel has inconsistent gaps on each side between itself and the tail lights - swapping the panel out will not address these gaps without other adjustments being made.

Thanks for that - I'll ask the dealer to fix it and I'll do the replacement decklid myself
