Any chance of it being in a TSB or similar official documentation? If so, would that be recognized by SCCA as a valid procedure for Street category competition?

Is the removal due to the release of strut bolts without splines to allow adjustment? I read on here that they're now a ford part in the catalog.

I don't know. I think Dick_R is trying to figure it out but this is why I am hesitating to slot my Konis - since you can't unslot them ;-)
Not that I am even remotely fast enough to get protested but wanted to stay compliant.

Manual mentiones "service bolts" and they have no spline, but I think diameter is just a bit smaller and does not really allow for much of an adjustment.
