I've been here in Melbourne all week, and paying more attention to the "market mix" - I would stick to my facetious comment above, but qualify that by suggesting that Victorians or Melbournites are more V8 led than Sydneysiders.

I think the prevalence of V8 Commode SS's and Falcon XR8 and XR6 Turbo's in traffic is greater than Sydney.

In Syders I think I see a great mix bag of Audi's, Mercs and Bimmers (in that sort of $70k price range) than big lopping V8's.

Hence more Stangs on the road down here.... and I have seen a few.

On Car Sales and a few other dealers preface everything with "arriving May".
Depending on pre - orders, that'll sharpen their pencils.

Just remember that even though they are delivered to melbourne, doesn't mean they stay there. for some reason a few of us sydneysiders have cars being unloaded there then trucked to sydney

Big numbers for Port Kembla on 21 April. I'll see everyone on the wharf :-)

Funny story: was at the Dealership on Saturday doing the finance paperwork and handing over my trade-in. I asked the salesman whether they had sold many mustangs. He said yes - they had something like 30 cars ordered and had delivered 10. In nearly 2 years. Hmmm. That's a new definition of 'many'

I think Hammo said he has pushed thru 150ish from Sinclairs when I was there recently.

just search your VIN in the VID section then look for the search result about half way down the page in a grey box and click on it to get details.
