What gauges are the most useful ?

Are these gauges very accurate, my air intake temp was showing -5'c this morning when the outside temp was 6'c ?

With ref: to the inaccurate gauges - make sure the OBD has been scanned in the correct mode (Ie Ford post 2006 or similar, its one of about 4 choices).

I have IAT, knockR, digital speed and revs on mine, with the extra LEDs around the outside displaying revs also.

Those 4 gauges are all you really need.

I had this exact issue, ngauge was showing 10 degrees below actual intake. I raised this with Jon at Lund and they did some investigation with the manufacturer. It turns out the conversion call is wrong (I think if you change it to Fahrenheit it's correct, not totally sure) However it took them about a week to get to the bottom of this and they have now agreed to correct this in the new firmware change. Keep checking their site to see when it's on. They checked other parameters and all readings are correct apart from this.

I also had the problem with the IAT being about 10 below, but have since found another PID that is correct (i.e. matches what the OBC reads exactly).

Ill take a look at what the PID is called later.

Mines a few versions out of date, currently running FW192, the latest is FW195.

I am on 195, made sod all difference to the IAT variance. I am not sure if its been noticed and reported to them until recently.

Lund Racing have sent me a newer firmware, 228.

Annoyingly the forums only supports zip files upto 3.8mb, the firmware is 4mb :frusty:

Seems like the gauges are a bit clearer and some are renamed, beyond that im not sure what the differences are.

Still worth doing though and nice heads up :)

New nGauge firmware released - FW234
Thanks for the heads up, lets hope it sorts the IAT out from being 10 degrees less than the car display

I'm not so sure it's entirely the garages fault, Kook's admitted it's been an on going issue with the rhd headers.

Are you still having issues with the IATs then?

I just switched to a different PID and its been working fine for months (I also had the same issue at one point, about -10C from what the car was reading), but now its spot on, even on the older FW.
