Actually these Raxiom fog lights are fantastic! But a bit expensive.

Those angel eyes fog lights that I found on Aliexpress for $86,7 seem a good alternative:

I've thought about running some fogs like these, but I believe the bezel opening is 3 inches and these have an outer diameter of 90mm or 3.5 inches. My concern would be that the bezel would cover a significant portion of the halo. That's honestly why I haven't already purchased a set. You can also find this style on ebay.

Good point ponie1992. I 'll go measure the bezel opening of the fog lights if I finally decide to order them. They should fit though, in the description they say that are designed for Mustang 2015-17.

Oh yeah, they'll fit. Wish we knew how wide the halo actually is, so we could calculate how much would be covered by the bezel.

I was at a mustang meeting this evening in Switzerland and one of the guys had the australian module for the squencing taillights. I have to say live it does really not look bad. Especially at night:

Oh and here is my last mod, grill similar to the RTR: DRL which blink too when turn signal is on (turn signal is also used with night lights but only the turn signals and not the full LED with full lights). They have to put the pony again in the middle but did have enough time.

My God... it still seems broken to me
I cannot understand how someone has enough money to buy (and feed) a V8, and then going cheap on this mod

Please take care of this !

Ok Guys,

I removed this part of the thread because I had a lot of feedback of other guys who ran into trouble with the products.
Now, after a lot of research we finally found the problem !

Please take care on the informations on the ballasts, you need to have this : 35XT5-2-D3S/D3R

If you have another model, it'll not work on your car !!

HID Conversion from 25w D8S (EU Model) to 35w D3S (US Model) :

Conversion to D1S !

Other info I've got.

With the D3S model, you need to modify a wire on the car to have it work properly in low/high beam.

Another fellow on the French Mustang Forum just tried to swap to a D1S model and it works and it's fully plug & play !
You just need the D1S ballast + D1S HID Bulbs.

For this, you need to have this information on the D1S Ballast : 35XT5-2-D1S/D1R

So, to clarify that, if we want to switch from 25w D8S (EU) to 35w D3S (US), we need the ones you linked and also we have to modify a wire.

Instead, with D1S it's all plug'n'play. Do you have a link for reliable 35w D1S bulbs?

I have to say, I also have the Morimoto version and they are really great. But of course you can buy whatever model you like in D1S version

Please NO !

Theretrofitsource have changed their version of the Ballast, now they sell this version : 35XT5-7-D3S/D3R

And it really don't work on our cars ! :frusty:

For the wire, yes, I had the issue only on one headlight, on the D8S ballasts, on one side, you have 2 power source. For the D3S you only need one power source. For that, you need to cut on power source in the light to have it fully working.

I may have found some fogs with halos that will work. It's gonna take some custom brackets, but very doable. I got these off eBay. They're just 3" universal fogs with halos. Let me say, the halos are extremely bright and will need their own power source straight from the battery it seems. I did a little mock up this morning.

Found some brackets that will work better. Filed down the fog centering tabs on the stock fog mount and drilled 2 holes. Used washers to get correct spacing and ordered some aluminum spacers. This is how it looks so far.
