I was just about to order a bob's setup. Now I have to see what this one looks like.

Does it have a drain?

Looks to me like you undo the torx screws and just tip the oil out. Be interesting to see if this Ford specifically designed one functions as well as the UPR and Bobs units. :)

I would want to see pictures of the inside and see how to drain it before I would think about buying one. The capacity doesn't look like it's very much.

Hi there

Can someone confirm this for me please, is this an oil catch can or is it as per the product name an air-oil separator? If its the latter that would surely mean this part collects no oil as it returns it back to the engine?

The way the hoses are orientated seems like it might allow enough gravity to drain oil back to the valve cover.
It sit's pretty high in the picture above the engine.

That is what I am thinking, this is a true air-oil seperator as its name suggest, so it requires zero maintenance really making it quite a unique kit and a great design by Ford.

Keep the engine clean and keep the oil in the sump where it belongs. :)

Think I shall be ordering this for sure!!! :)

Adding this to my wish list. :)

I wish Ford Racing would show an exploded view of this and give a detailed description on how it works. It appears to mount to something instead of being free floating.

Wow, yeah, that a big design difference vs. the aftermarket setups that actually collect oil and require draining.
