Would there be any benefit other than looks to an actual intake manifold replacement like the Breedt manifold for the ST and RS? And if so, any reason the one they make for the RS would not bolt on?

I would think the one for the Mazdaspeed 3 would bolt right on too the Ecoboost motor in the mustang since they are basically the same motor.

I don't think they are as similar as you'd think. I'm sure some of the major companies would have done or mentioned that swap in their quest for flow, however if your right, I'd be down for something along those lines

Damn.... So much want, had not seen that one. I wonder if my wife would forgive me if I blamed Woodshop for the purchase?

Anyways was looking at this one (significantly cheaper, is supposed to also fit the RS which has 2.3, so was wondering if there are any differences)

http://www.breedtproductdesign.com/product-store.html

. Mostly though wondering if replacing the Intake manifold is worth it on a bolt on car or only on a big turbo car?

That'd be all fine and dandy except the throttle body would be on the wrong side, pointed towards the firewall.

other than heat soak would there be any performance gains at lower power levels? I'm under the impression that you'll only need one at the the higher levels as in high enough to need a built block
