Has anyone attempted to modify their stock grille by removing the honeycomb? I saw a guy posted online where he can do it in approx. an hour but didn't give any information on how. He was charging people to do theirs. I don't have my car yet so I really have nothing to look at to get an idea.

Bought another grille and used my dremel to cut out the grille. Total cost was $48.

I'm strongly considering doing the same thing. How hard would you say it was to get a good clean cut? Is there a good line to follow (hope that makes sense)?

Also, are you doing the lower grill?

We sell modified factory grill set (upper and lower) with powder coated hexagonal mesh to protect the condenser but still give the open look. $299.95 plus shipping.

the actual honeycomb part extrudes in the back giving you a nice clean line to cut. took me maybe 30 minutes to cut and sand.
