Rust inside passenger door – warranty?

Sorry if this is a dumb question but I typically try to avoid giving my car to the dealer.

I just noticed some pretty bad rust on the bit that holds the door from swinging wide open, on the passenger side.

Should I take this in and have them replace it?

That looks like what cars that have water damage look like. I'd bring it in

There is rust coverage in the warranty, so you should take it in.

Unless the rust was caused by physical damage then it should be covered.
