Hello all,

I'm pretty new to the forums and mustang world. I came from a 2005 subaru STI. Just wanted to see what your guys' thoughts were on how much power my car will put down on a mustang dyno? I'm currently in the process of finishing up an e30 e-tune mixed with 91 CA octane. Current mods are just downpipe and exhaust, everything else stock. My STI with stock turbo on full e85 put down 345 wheel and 410 torque... I'm not running full e85 so would 300 wheel and about 370 torque be a reasonable guess? I tried searching for dyno graphs on here but didn't see too much in the way of a dyno graph for an e30 setup.

You can get around/near 300whp with just a tune alone of these. I would ballpark maybe 320 with e30,full turbo-back and tune. But I might be well off.

My car just did 307/377 SAE corrected on a Dynojet on E30. Stock everything except an E30 tune from Lund (low boost-21lbs because they don't like to push it with the IATs generated with stock intercooler). Stock paper air filter.

EDIT: post 31 in this thread... http://www.mustang6g.com/forums/showthread.php?t=50563

I was around 340-350 on E30 by looking at my trap speeds. On a MD it might be a bit less.

I'm guessing nobody is bothering to read the title of the poll. He is asking about TORQUE numbers which would be much higher than 325 with even an off the shelf Cobb tune.

I think it depends a lot on how aggressive the tune writer wants to get with the calibration. I know it's pretty easy to make 400+ ft-lbs on a Dynojet with a fairly aggressive tune with mostly stock parts, sorry I don't know how much different a Mustang dyno reads. I thought those were kind of all over the board depending on the calibration used?

I have made 375whp/420wtq on E30 with a bolt on stock turbo car. I normally keep Torque between 380-400whp regardless of the fuel. Torque is going to be at peak boost, peak HP is going to be around 5500rpm on these cars and there is much more power to be had with E30 due to timing. 4-5° peak on pump, 8-11° peak on E30.

He asked about both no? I think Adam gave him the answer he was looking for

Well according to the poll results half the people who voted believe a tunned EcoBoost will make 325 torque.. Lol. It's just misleading but doesn't really matter as long as the op understands.

I would go with this. However, since you are specifically asking in regards to a mustang dyno I'm sure you probably already know that a mustang dyno will always output lower number than say a dynojet, but as long as you have before and after result it really shouldn't matter which dyno you use since a dyno is best used as a tool to. measure before/after and preferably on the same day and condition. However, these turbos love corn. I was a corn nut at one point of time with my STi but I realized meth is much more easier to deal with. Good luck!
