Ehh... this is scaring me now, about to go down to a dealership and order one, anyone know if Currie Motors Ford of Frankfort (near Chicago) is a good choice by any chance?

Check the x plan description because it should limit what you can be charged fee wise under x-plan policy.

Just as a added note, I have 13560.00 in options or 12880.00 under the x-plan:shrug:

I'm not sure how they justify a GT that is going to cost over $50k. Will be interesting to see how it all plays out over the next few months. Was all about picking up the new 18 GT but iffy on it at that price.

Either I can pick up an 2SS/SRT 392 pretty loaded for about $40k or at that price I'd consider a ZL1/Hellcat for just a few thousand more.

I get pushing for the performance increase with the current GT but the packaging options and much much higher price point seem odd to me when you consider how well Ford was doing with sales on these.

Errr, this is so hard.... I need to see the colors in person, I've seen a lot of lightening blue, but from memory the Kona blue looked better to me, but then again memories can be deceiving :headbonk:
Funny you say that - I put a deposit down on a Kona Blue back in 2010, but cancelled because my kids were younger and there's zero room for them in the back seat (plus I was coaching softball, and didn't think we could fit the equipment in the car).

My kids are in college now, and I finally bought myself a blue mustang - lightning blue! If Kona was available in 2017, it would have been a tough choice!

That 250 doc fee rang a bell to me too. I just checked and it looks like the doc fee limit is still $100.

"
Document Fees

  • Dealers will be permitted to assess up to $100 in documentary fees on each delivery to an eligible purchaser under the terms of the Plan, unless otherwise provided by state or local laws or regulation. Each dealer is responsible for complying with applicable laws or regulations.
  • Unless otherwise provided by state or local laws or regulation: In states where dealers are not permitted to charge as much as $100 for doc fees, dealers would be capped at the lesser amount as provided by the state. In states that permitted more than $100, dealers would be permitted to charge the Plan customer $100. In states that permitted more than $100 and also required that all customers be charged the same amount, dealers may charge the Plan customer $100 and indicate any additional fees have been paid by Ford Motor Company or Lincoln Motor Company as part of the AXZD-Plan Program dealer reimbursement on the buyer's order.
  • Doc Fee Charges should be detailed on the AXZD Plan Pricing Agreement located in number 4."
