We apologize for the delay - we have been working around the clock producing more & more of the braces - they are one of our best sellers.

You will be very happy - very strong & effective piece!

Best Regards,

TJ

So I bought some MPSS's recently after a month long search/research phase. I learned a lot about the michelin brand to say the least.
One of the things that I learned is that the MPSS comes in a wide range of specs depending on tire size. Certain tire sizes have options
that were requested by certain manufacturers.

Case in point, My front tires are a BMW spec and my rear tires are a Ferrari pec(K1).

For the rear I had the option of a Porsche spec(NO) or the ones I got(k1). I went with the Ferrari spec because they were 3 lbs lighter
and offered 1/2" more width compared to the NO spec. I was surprised when I mounted them as they were wider than my previous
305's and I got a poke issue now.

Other than that, it drives like a dream. MUCH better than my previous set.

Learn something new everyday...

04/13/17: First track day of the season at Thunder Hill. The car performed great with the new MPSS and I had a great time driving hard and passing other cars.
Overall a good day, linework was good but gotta keep working on my heel-toe shifting.

Hi Todd,

Went through your build thread and your car is turning out nice! Really like your wheel and tire combo and I'm thinking that I'd like to copy you and might look really good on my Competition Orange. I really like the Titanium finish. I know you noted the brand and size of the wheels, but could you give me any information on where you bought them, cost, tires, and anything else that might be helpful? I read the tires were sticking out a little further than you wanted. Do you have any rubbing issues? I plan to lower mine with the Ford Racing Track Pack I think it's supposed to lower it an inch.

Thank you!

Hey man, thanks a lot! I think the wheels would look good on a Comp. Orange.

I bought them from Paul@PKAUTODESIGN when he was at Need 4 Speed. I cant remember the exact price
but they were reasonable as they're not forged wheels. The Brushed Titanium finish is extra though and
well worth it as it really makes the wheel. When I bought the wheels I put some cheap MT Sport Comps
on them just to get them on. If you don't do any type of perf. driving then I think they'll work for you.

Since then I went with a set of Michelin Pilot Super Sports and they made a HUGE difference and really
unlocked the cars handling potential. Granted the rears are a little wider than I thought they would be but
I am ok with that. I'm still contemplating buying a slightly wider rear set of wheels.

As far as rubbing goes, it only rubs if I drive over a huge dip or something like that. I am lowered on BMR
SP 080 springs and running stock camber specs. No problems at all on the track.

Good luck and let me know if/when you get your set going!
