I saw this car in the R&D facility when I toured the HQ. Their process goes pretty fast once they have a test car on site.

Seems like a lot of investment for a model that is potentially in its last year of production.

...unless they know something about the 5.2 sticking around (whether fpc or cpc) in either the refreshed gt or the rumored mach 1 :)

I dunno but theyll be getting my money. Coming from a car that trapped 126 in the 1/4 the GT350 needs a little more umph for me. I look at it as a starting platform ;).

Some don't understand why one would use this platform for a SC, But if money isn't a concern why not start with a unique, wide-body, excellent handling platform with magnaride etc. I realize it takes a track car and possibly removes it from some tracking conditions, but the reality is that the 2016s without coolers are not track-able anyway stock. It will be really cool to see what they can do providing the heat and longevity are not dramatically altered. How much power is needed to get to a hp/lb ratio similar to a z06 for example?

The last thing I am doing to this car is add more weight to the front end, Pass.

The GT350 is in its last year of production but a version of the 5.2 will probably see an application elsewhere

Wait - there has been an official announcement the GT350 platform will only run through MY17?

The GT350 is wide body in the front compared to the normal mustang. That's what he was talking about. Not adding a kit to the car.

I'm interested in seeing a twin turbo kit.
