Yeah it's pretty simple, I was more worried about messing up the update via the thumdrive than installing the hub. You take a flathead and slide it into the top behind the lip of the USB charger in the console (there is actually a small space in the middle ground out for you to slide a tool behind it) and pop it out. There are 3 wires you just plug into the new one and pop it back in.
I can handle wiring just fine; I can see exactly where things are, and can take my time, rechecking if needed. Updating software is what makes me nervous. You just pop a thumb drive in and hope for the best. At the end of the day you have no idea what's happening and can't see any work being done unlike mechanical things.

I believe that was an early estimate for dealer install. Parts & labor.

First that estimate was to order the part, so no labor.
As far as install; From what I'm reading there is like a 5 min install. Pop the old on and plug in the new one.
So if a dealer does charfe $200 parts ad labor; that would be like $140 just for 5 mins work.

Also, dealers don't charge for 5 minutes. They usually start at 1hr as a minimum.

Android guys! I randomly tested out the new version after seeing their update notes. AccuWeather now works with bluetooth as an mobile app! Free version and $3.99 ad-free version!!

I have a navigation 2016 Mustang. I downloaded the file from page 1, but when I plugged the USB into the car, I got an error message saying there is not enough room to do the install. Is there more to this upgrade process than extracting and plugging in the downloaded files?
